Shannon Wagers is a Consumer Products Professional with decades of experience in creating winning products, including Tide, Olay, Old Spice, and Gillette. Shannon is a graduate of Miami University (OH) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He was awarded his first patent in 2005, and has several others in application.
Shannon is an Innovation Guide at P&G’s GYM, an innovation and creativity space. The GYM features an expert team that directs P&G employees with P&G's best tools and practices to identify new opportunities, solve problems, and generate big ideas.
Among his credentials, he is a Certified Master Integrator and Facilitator of Simplexity, in addition to becoming a Professional Innovation Advisor in 2016. Shannon has been recognized and awarded as an exceptional facilitator. His style is abundantly energetic and he has been praised for his ability to direct teams and effectively keep them on task. Shannon's sessions are valued as "Time well spent, producing extremely valuable output. Shannon’s techniques, and understanding of approaches are amazing.” Shannon is also a recognized facilitator by the Creative Education Foundation.
Partnering with Basadur Applied Creativity, Shannon has been a featured presenter at the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) Conference. His feedback evaluations were highly rated and recognized his Knowledge of Simplexity Thinking, Audience Engagement, and Adaptability to Learning Styles. Additionally, Shannon was acknowledged for his use of tangible, real world examples.
Shannon is a lifelong resident of Southwest Ohio and resides in Liberty Township. He and his wife Ruth enjoy cheering on their hometown sports teams - the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals
