Marta Glowacka was born in Poland where she studied German philology. Then she went to Germany for studying Economics at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld. She worked during the studies as student assistant for Professor Ulrike Detmers who is also one of the managing shareholders at Mestemacher GmbH, the leading producer of packaged bread specialties, exporting whole grain bread to over 90 countries all over the world.
Marta started to work for Mestemacher GmbH in Germany and soon went back to Poland to work as general manager of their polish daughter company, she stayed there for almost 13 years.
She graduated the EMBA program of the Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland in 2014, partly held in Poznan, Poland. One of the modules included in this program was the introduction of Simplexity Thinking and this way she met Professor Min Basadur. Marta Glowacka knows how to use her skills in order to transform an organization, to build a team and how to motivate a team by involving people in the creative problem solving process.
After successful work which lead the daughter company in Poland to sustainable long term results and after replacing herself with her successor Marta Glowacka started her new job as a member of the executive board at Mestemacher GmbH in Germany in January 2017.
She uses Simplexity Thinking in her daily routine for leading projects, mediating in difficult HR issues and for everyday decisions. She is implementing this way of thinking in her organization and looks forward to the future!
